We are a family co-op dedicated to sourcing and distributing high-quality coffee. Finjal was created as a way to establish East African sustainable coffee as the future. The belief in our tradition whilst supporting a future that the next generation can thrive in. How should I store the coffee and how long will it last?

We suggest enjoying your coffee as soon as possible. We do package all coffee in a sealed bag equipped with a one way valve to ensure the freshest possible coffee.  This will prevent oxygen from entering the bag until the seal is broken. For optimal fusion experience we recommend that you order whole bean and grind the coffee directly before brewing.  Store your coffee in a dark cool area and away from other foods with strong flavours and aromas as coffee can absorb other smells and taste of nearby foods. This coffee has a shelf life of 6 months.

Should I get medium dark or Dark roasted coffee?

Taste is one the most individual things about us so it’s hard to say. However we recommend starting with our signature roast for a full taste of the Scandinavian and East African coffee culture.

What grind size should I get?

That is very dependent on the type of equipment you use but a general rule is the faster the extraction, the finer the grind.  Check out our brew guide for more information.

What is green coffee?

Green coffee is coffee beans unroasted. We offer this raw coffee as an alternative to our roasted coffee. Tradition in East Africa dictates that coffee is to be bought green and be roasted at home. If you want to have fun and try your hand at developing  your own coffee this is a great alternative.

When will my order ship?

Finjal ships all orders within 48 hours but majority is sent within the first 12 hours on weekdays.

Where do you ship?

We ship all around the world. Unfortunately, due to Jamaica’s  international customs, coffee is not allowed to be shipped from Sweden.

Will I have to pay international taxes & duties?

You may be subjected to a fee as International orders are subject to include additional processing and handling fees depending on Customs within your country.

How much is shipping

Shipping is calculated at checkout.

A note for international customers: Occasionally overseas shipments will take a longer time due to the delivery country’s customs. Each customs office is different and Finjal is not responsible for any extra fees or tariffs. 

Order information

I need to change something on my order. How can I do that?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. Once the order has been processed, we are unable to make any changes.

How can I change my order after it’s been placed?

Since the turnaround time on our processing are so fast, changing an order after it’s been placed can be difficult. Because of this, we recommend contacting us immediately. We here at Finjal are committed to do our best to make sure you’ll get what you need.

What if I need more than 10 kgs coffee or more.

If you intend on purchasing bulk quantities of coffee please visit our wholesale page. If you are an individual write us here so that we can work with you on pricing.

According to Swedish law customers are entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal under the distance contract law. However, this law does not apply to food items, since coffee is part of this category, and therefore the right of withdrawal does not apply.

What are my payment options?

We accept all payments through Klarna and have a partnership with Klarna to be able to offer you new ways to pay at the checkout. It is an easy and safe way to get the coffee you want when you need it. .

How do I ensure secure payment?

Our Store uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address to prevent it from being read as it travels over the Internet. After many have shown interest in a subscription based model for our coffee we have decided to launch winter 2020. More info coming soon.

Are your coffees sustainable?

One of our visions for Finjal was to center the partnership with the farmers and we are happy to have been able to achieve that.  We are working with incredibly dedicated farmers cultivating some of the greatest coffees. All our coffees are fresh in season and fully traceable. Check out more on here where we will be showcasing our incredible partners.

How many different coffees do you offer?

Our coffee selection is very focused with a maximum of 4 coffees at a time. We are also going to present limited edition coffee from new farms or unexplored micro-regions we are excited about. Watch this space.
