CEZVE

Ingredients

  • 3 finjals of cold filtered water
  • 2 and a half tablespoons of Finjals Dark Roast
  • 1 Teaspoon of sugar

Begin with placing the sugar on the bottom of the Cezve, then add water and finely ground coffee on top. Blend until its all combined together and and place it on the sand and dig it in so that the sand surrounds the Cezve. It will create an evenly distributed heat. Slowly bring coffee to a boil and lower the heat.

Coffee should foam up very quickly. When it foams up make sure to remove fast and rest for 15 seconds. Repeat process 4 times. The coffee should bloom up by now so take one tea spoon and scoop up the cream on top and place in your finjal (demitasse). Pour over the rest of the coffee and let it sit for 45 seconds.

Pour a glass of water in a separate glass and drink it during the time you wait for the coffee to cool down as a palate cleanser. Enjoy!
